Fall is generally my favorite time of year, although this year it is taking a long time for that “feeling” to reach me. These watercolor paintings of fall leaves are helping to bring the mood.

I wanted to put a couple of postcards/notes in a recent packet of cards and letters to my folks back in the states, and I did two very similar paintings on two postcards (and wrote my notes on the back).

I used a pencil, a Uniball Vision pen, Derwent Inktense Watercolors, some masking fluid, and Derwent Waterbrushes for this painting.
